Dried in Silica Gel Method
Preserving flowers in Silica Gel requires meticulous attention to detail but it’s well worth the work because this method preserves the beautiful shape and color of your flowers with precision. We start by carefully selecting the freshest flowers from your bouquet at their peak bloom. We then trim the stems and remove any excess leaves. Silica Gel is poured into our specially designed containers and we gently place the flowers on top, ensuring that the flowers are not touching each other or the walls of the container. We carefully cover each flower in Silica Gel until they are completely submerged. The container is tightly sealed and left to dry for several days or weeks until the Silica Gel has absorbed all of the moisture from the flowers. Once dried, the result is beautifully preserved blooms with radiant colors and natural shapes. We may choose to preserve the full flower with this method or smaller fragments to incorporate in our compositions.
